Dauphin Hospital Foundation contributes to home care service

The Home Care Program within Dauphin Community Health Services recently received funding of about $4,000 from the Dauphin Hospital Foundation to purchase a piece of equipment used during initial client assessments on lower limbs.
The Bidop Doppler is used when a non-invasive test, which assesses blood flow in the lower limbs, is needed. These tests are performed on home care clients to determine whether compression therapy is appropriate. They also assist when looking at clients with active wounds below the knee for wound therapy.
The Dauphin Home Care Program services clients in many areas including the City and RM of Dauphin, Municipality of Lakeshore and the communities of Ochre River and Sifton.
Prairie Mountain Health and Dauphin Community Health Services thank the Dauphin Hospital Foundation for their generous contribution.
