Cervical Screening Clinics
Cervical Screening Clinics in Prairie Mountain Health are regularly scheduled in a variety of locations throughout the region. Clinics are staffed by registered nurses (RNs) who have completed specialized training in cervical screening from CancerCare Manitoba. If requested by the client a manual clinical breast examination will be done.
Note: It is recommended to have yourself assigned with a regular health care provider (physician, nurse practitioner, clinical assistant or physician assistant) prior to attending a Cervical Screening Clinic. However, this is not a requirement to attend the Cervical Screening Clinic.
