How one Community Chose to Use the Benefits of the HTN Program
The Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation applied for HTN funding that is managed by PMH. Because of this funding, the West End Community Garden grew and flourished resulting in a rejuvenation of the space and unique partnerships. Healthy Together Now (HTN) works with their local RHA’s (PMH), local stakeholders, community organizations, schools, municipalities and individuals to identify health promotion and chronic disease prevention activities
Focused on tobacco reduction, healthy eating, physical activity, and mental wellness. Creating partnerships is key. HTN projects are community-led, evidence-informed, integrated, focused, and work towards sustainability.
