Empowered Eating

Empowered Eating was created by Registered Dietitians and Mental Health professionals to help participants develop a healthier relationship with food through a weight-neutral approach.

Empowered Eating will help participants:

  • Embrace self-compassion
  • Challenge food and diet rules
  • Nourish and take care of their body

Who would benefit?

Empowered Eating is suitable for people 16 years and older that struggle with feeling guilty about their eating, feel they are an emotional eater, or want to stop the diet cycle and feel more empowered in their eating. Anyone with medical conditions including disordered eating or an eating disorder are welcome to attend Empower Eating. However, since Empowered Eating is a group program, it does not provide individual diet recommendations. Empowered Eating is not a diet or exercise program, nor is it intended to replace individual or group therapy or counselling.
