The Manitoba government has made new appointments and reappointments to the boards of the five regional health authorities including naming two new individuals to the Board of Directors of Prairie Mountain Health (PMH).
The two new faces joining the PMH Board include Brad Collett (Onanole) and Donna Davidson (Ochre River). Duane Whyte (Swan River) was reappointed to the Board.
Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living Minister Cameron Friesen says the boards of regional health authorities are responsible for directing the management and affairs of the region to ensure the delivery and administration of health services.
“Regional board members are crucial to guide the provision of safe, quality care and guide how we move forward to ensure consistent, reliable health services across the province,” said Friesen.
“I look forward to working with these new teams, and extend my thanks to outgoing board members for the leadership they have provided.”
Prairie Mountain Health would like to thank outgoing Board member Cheryl Bjornson for her commitment and dedication during her time on the PMH Board.
Other Board members whose terms continue include: Lee Jebb, Chair, (Brandon), Mark Frison, Vice-Chair (Brandon), Lon Cullen (Brandon), Murray Parrott (Franklin), Wanda Sandy (Canupawapka Dakota Nation), Gwendolyn Drul (Oakburn) and Wade Schott (Roblin).
