Manitoba Health: Seasonal Influenza Immunization Program
Meningococcal Quadrivalent Eligibility
- Any child born between Jan. 1, 2020 – Feb. 28, 2023, who has not received the Quadrivalent Meningococcal Vaccine.
- Any child born between Jan. 1, 2020 – Feb. 28, 2023, who received the Meningococcal Bacteria Type C vaccine is recommended to receive the Quadrivalent Meningococcal Vaccine for additional protection.
Measles, Mumps and Rubella Eligibility
- Children aged 6 months to under 12 months:
- Eligible for 1 dose if travelling to a measles endemic country.
- Manitoba’s Measles Outbreak Eligibility:
One dose can be provided to the following, in addition to the routine schedule offered at 12 months and 4-6 years:- Those residing in Southern Health-Santé Sud (SH-SS) or Interlake Eastern (IERHA), or
- Those who travel regularly to AND have close contact with residents of SH-SS or IERHA, or
- Those who have been evacuated from their home communities due to wildfires in Manitoba
