The Communications team is responsible for public messaging on behalf of Prairie Mountain Health. We also share information regarding our programs and services in a clear, responsible and timely manner to all the people we serve.
Communications uses a multi-media strategy to reach the public, staff, health partners and stakeholders through their preferred method of receiving information. We make sure this information is delivered through various channels such as our website, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, digital signage, print, radio, television or through advertising.

Prairie Mountain Health is committed to resonding to the media in an accurate, timely, relevant and professional manner. The team is committed to promoting and highlighting our successes in health care as well as our opportunities for improvement. To ensure the use of accurate sources and for the protection of patient privacy, all media requests for interviews, photography,video footage and access to Prairie Mountain Health facilities and staff are coordinated through Media Relations by contacting:
Interviews with and permission to take photographs of patients at PMH facilities will only be granted with written consent from the patient or legal representative. In accordance with various privacy act regulations or legislation, updates on patient conditions may be provided to media if the patient or their designated representative has given authorization. PMH’s first priority is delivering excellent medical care and respecting the patient's and their family's wishes with respect to privacy.
A member of the department or designate must accompany news media at all times while in PMH facilities.
