As a volunteer you will make a difference in the well-being of individuals, families and communities who are served by Prairie Mountain Health.
Volunteers are essential to the delivery of health care. Working alongside our staff and the entire medical team, our aim is to meet the needs of the people we serve.
Becoming a volunteer with Prairie Mountain Health will make you part of a large team of caring people who are committed to assisting in delivery and strengthening of health services.
Our volunteers are goodwill ambassadors who are committed to patient confidentiality, safety and care.

Prairie Mountain Health offers a variety of opportunities for volunteers. The majority of placements are on weekdays between 8 a.m and 4 p.m. We have limited evening and weekend opportunities and volunteers must be a minimum age of 15 years to register.
As a registered volunteer you will be offered a regularly scheduled shift in a specific placement. Placement is determined based on your interests and the Health Centre’s needs. The time commitment is up to four hours once per week. There is a minimum commitment of 6 months to register with the program.

Volunteer Services thanks you for your interest in the program and advises you that candidates for interviews will be the only applicants contacted. Please consider the submission of your application as received to department. Not all applicants will be contacted. All completed applications will remain in confidence with the department and be retained for 3 months.
