Cargill and Corteva team up to aid Dauphin Palliative Care Unit Redevelopment
The Dauphin Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Redevelopment Project has once again received a boost from Cargill Limited and additional backing from Corteva Agriscience. Thanks to their efforts, and support from local farmers for purchasing Corteva’s product, a $2,500 donation was made back to this very important health-care project for the region.
The Palliative Care Redevelopment is over half-way completed. Thanks to generous donations that flow through the Dauphin Hospital Foundation, two of four new beds have been purchased and are in use. All of the hospital’s four palliative care rooms have also been painted and redecorated.
The remaining goal is to purchase two more beds to complete the initial project.

Central Happy Haven
Thank you to the members of Central Happy Haven for the recent donation of $1,000 for the Identified Needs Fund that will accumulate with other donations and used for the purchase of equipment from the BRHC’s equipment needs list.
Over the years, Central Happy Haven’s bells group and card groups enjoyed many happy hours together at Central Community Centre. Although the group has disbanded, the bells have found a new home and memories and relationships will be cherished.

The Memory Lane Car Club have once again supported the healthcare needs of children in our community with their donation of $980 for the Pediatric Department. This generous donation will be used to purchase an axillary thermometer (under the arm temperatures).
The Car Club teamed up with Heritage Co-op Marketplace on Richmond Avenue by volunteering at their Equity Days Barbeque held July 17, 2019, with all $$ raised targeted toward the purchase of equipment for the Pediatric Department.
Thank you to everyone who supported Equity Days 2019, and the Car Club volunteers for their role in this successful fundraiser.
Memory Lane Car Club has been supporting the Pediatric Department for the past nine years providing many items to enhance the care provided to children including oxygen masks, chairs, DVD players, televisions, etc.
