Dauphin Regional Health Centre flooding leads to closure

The Dauphin Regional Health Centre (DRHC) suffered unprecedented flood damage due to intense rainfall which began inundating parts of the community on June 30, 2026. The City of Dauphin declared a local state of emergency the following day (July 1st). Due to the extensive damage which knocked out electrical and mechanical systems and left water, silt, and debris nearly everywhere in the hospital basement, the DRHC has temporarily closed.
