All persons visiting health care facilities, including designated support persons, designated visitors and outpatients attending medical appointments, are now required to bring and wear and non-medical mask for the duration of their visit.
A person who enters or remains in our facilities must wear a mask in a manner that covers their mouth, nose and chin without gapping.
Exemptions
- Children under the age of five years of age;
- Individuals with medical conditions unrelated to COVID-19, including breathing or cognitive difficulties, that prevent them from safely wearing a mask are exempted from this requirement;
- Persons who are unable to put on or remove their mask without assistance are similarly exempted.
