Information for Manufacturers and Businesses

Supply Donations for Prairie Mountain Health

As Manitoba’s Health System continues with preparations to ensure our province is prepared to meet the needs of our patients and to ensure appropriate protection from COVID-19 is available to health care workers, donations of the following supplies are now welcome and greatly appreciated.

Supplies must:

    • Meet the required standards
    • Be appropriate for use by health-care workers
    • Be in original packaging, clean and in useable condition. Expired supplies are not able to be accepted.
Product Description
N95 Respirators – Hospital Grade   Any and all sizes
  • Minimum “N95” respirator according to FDA Class II, under 21 CFR 878.4040, and CDC NIOSH, or;
  • Minimum “FFP2” according to EN 149, EU PPE Regulation 2016/425 Category III, or equivalent
N95 Respirators – Industrial Grade   Any and all sizes
  NOISH approved
  Additional Acceptable International Standards include:
  • N95 (United States)
  • FFP2 (Europe)
  • P2 (Australia/New Zealand)
  • Korea 1st class (Korea)
  • DS (Japan)
Medical/ Surgical Procedural Masks   Adult/Pediatrics/Child-Any and all sizes, with ear loops or ties in their original and sealed boxes
  • EU MDD directive 93/42/EEC Category III, or equivalent,
  • EN 14683 Type II, IR, IIR• ASTM F2100 minimum level 1or equivalent
Medical Exam Gloves   Any and all sizes in original sealed boxes
  Latex Free; Powder Free
Isolation Gowns – disposable   Any and all sizes
  EU PPE Regulation 2016/425 and EU MDD directive 93/42/EEC
  FDA class I or II medical device, or equivalent
  EN 13795 any performance level, OR
  AAMI PB70 all levels acceptable, or equivalent

  Sealed bottles or tubs of Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide cleaner disinfectant in manufacturer’s original packaging.
  Product should have a wet contact time of 5 minutes or less for disinfection.

  (Does not include store bought wipes such as Lysol, Clorox, etc)

Face Shields   One size fits all.
  Minimum 24 cm high, 36 cm wide.
  Material: Polycarbonate, Propionate, Acetate, Polyvinyl chloride, Polyethylene terephthalate (clear)
  ANSI/ISEA Z.87.1 (2015) American National Standard for Occupational and Educational Personal Eye and Face Protection Devices.
Shoe Covers & bouffant caps   Multiple Sizes, Fluid resistant, hospital grade.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
