  • Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
  • Must be a member in good standings with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
  • CCFP preferred
  • ACLS

Family physician required to share a practice with experienced rural physician.
The 16 bed based, accredited hospital includes an emergency room, observation room, acute care adult and paediatric ward, 20 bed Personal Care Home and a palliative care room. Diagnostic services (Laboratory and Imaging) are available within the centre. The medical clinic is located on site and offers new fully implemented Accuro® EMR.

Itinerant support services with Prairie Mountain Health - Community (Home Care, Mental Health, Diabetic Education Resource Program and Public Health) have office space and offer services within the facility. EMS services are available for transportation of clients to the facility or to other health care facilities. Prairie Mountain Health provides onsite access to a variety of referral therapy services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language, and dietician services.

The Village of Winnipegosis is home to approximately 700 residents. Cradled in the heart of Manitoba's Parkland region, opportunities abound in this Village by the Lake as career openings continually present themselves in both the Village of Winnipegosis and the trading area of 55,000. Beside the Winnipegosis and District Health Centre, professional services are offered within the village including a Pharmacy, RCMP Detachment, Manitoba Conservation, day care (private and government) an elementary and high school, Residential Services, Insurance Company, as well as a branch office of a major bank and a Credit Union. Winnipegosis is an agricultural service centre for the prosperous farming community in the area and offers many attractions for residents.
